Today, 13 March 2025, a delegation from the DEM Party (Kurdish: پارتی یەکسانی و دیموکراسیی گەلان، Partiya Wekhevî û Demokrasiya Gelan, Turkish: Halkların Eşitlik ve Demokrasi Partisi) including:
- Vezir Parlack, DEM Party MP in the Turkish Parliament
- Murat Şen, DEM Party representative in the Kurdistan Region
- Muslim Kaplan and Fawziya Şiran, DEM Party representatives in Sulaimani
visited the offices of Komala Party of Kurdistan in Sulaimani.
The visiting delegation was received by Komala members: Sadiq Zandi, Executive Bureau member; Mohammad Hakimi and Ata Nasrsaqzi, both Central Committee members.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the peace process in Turkey and the current situation in Rojava (West Kurdistan). The DEM Party delegation formally invited Komala Party of Kurdistan to attend the upcoming Newroz celebrations in Amed (Diyarbakir).
