People of revolutionary Kurdistan,
25 Kharmanan is the day when the name Jina became a historic and progressive symbol — a cry that crossed all borders of Kurdistan, echoed around the world, and marked a new era of pride and resistance for our people.

This year, we continue to honour the uprising of “Woman, Life, Freedom,” an uprising that the oppressive Islamic Republic regime could not suppress — despite brutal repression and killings — nor could it silence the voices of our daughters and sons. Over these two years, our society has proven, through civil and collective resistance, that this revolution continues, and the struggle for freedom and equality is alive.

Our medical community’s resistance and civil disobedience are woven into the broader social and labour movements — alongside workers, women, the unemployed, and the poor — building a new front of defiance every day.

Today, the regime seeks to crush our people’s will through countless plans, including violent pressure on the resistance in Rojhelat and the forced relocation of Peshmerga bases. These are desperate attempts to break the deep public support for the Peshmerga and their role in defending dignity and freedom.

We, the medical staff, who stood by the wounded during the Jina uprising, fulfilled our professional and social duties toward the people and the Kurdistan movement — and we remain committed.

On this anniversary, we call on all our people — families of martyrs, parents, youth, workers, students, teachers, merchants, trade unions, and justice-seekers — to stay home on Sunday, 25 Kharmanan, and take part in a nationwide civil strike. Through this peaceful act, let us honour the martyrs of the Jina revolution and keep their names and path alive.

Jin, Jiyan, Azadî
Forward with unity and the people’s struggle
