Young men, women, and brave sons of the land!
Soon, forty days will have passed since the killing of Jina (Kurdish: ژینا). Her brutal murder sparked the great uprising of #Jina_Mahsa, which transcended the borders of Kurdistan and encompassed all of Iran, earning widespread recognition for the revolutionary and justice-seeking movement of Kurdistan.
During this period, the regime’s authorities have violently suppressed the dissatisfied populace, unabatedly killing citizens, and have rightfully earned the title of a child-killing regime.
Therefore, on Wednesday, the 4th of Khazalwar, let us all—women and men, in every place and city—gather in Kurdish attire at the graves of the martyrs to honor their aspirations and sacrifices. Later, after noon, by assembling in the city streets, raising slogans against the regime, and chanting “Woman, Life, Freedom,” we collectively demand the immediate release of all detainees.
Let Jina’s fortieth day and those of others become symbols of our unity, the revival of the martyrs’ memory, and support for the freedom of political prisoners.
